Intro

One of my videos is dedicated to the characters of the game World of Warcraft in the cyberpunk style. The most difficult character turned out to be the most famous and recognizable - Sylvanas Windrunner. In this tutorial I will show my approach.

STEP 1: Prompt the character

First, I find out what the AI can generate from a direct prompt:

Good! However, these lack one main feature - long eyebrows. No matter how much you regenerate, they will not appear. (There are reasons for this. More on that later perhaps.)

STEP 2: Add details

I made sure that the direct prompt gave the right character, so now I can tell the AI how to change it. Here I will try new prompts adding in the iconic eyebrows of the character.

It worked, the eyebrows are now consistently on the character. From now on, to keep the eyebrows and Sylvanas inseparable, I will use this prompt to represent Sylvanas: "Sylvanas Windrunner character, long light eyebrows extending out to the sides like thin threads,"

STEP 3: Experiment with style

As you can see, the eyebrows are now where they should be. I am now able to get the character more consistently. So how will this work in other non-Warcraft styles? For example, I take the cyberpunk style.

Yes! I generated Sylvanas's great-granddaughter. I will vary the prompt to create more relatives of Sylvanas Windrunner in 2049:

This type is more like a Windrunner. Please note that I got this type by changing only the wording of the beginning of the prompt. This is important! Each point or sign can lead to completely different results. I received this one. However, according to legend, Sylvanas's eyes are supposed to be red. I leave this version of the prompt and add to it what I want to get:

This is fine. Warcraft fans will recognize this. I did not try to recreate an exact copy of the World of Warcraft character. According to my ideal, all characters should only be similar to the originals and have recognizable features. In addition, who knows what they would be like if World of Warcraft were created in the cyberpunk style in 2049?
