ML Scientist / Engineer - High Performance Computing
Position Overview
We are in search of seasoned Machine Learning Engineers/Scientists with profound expertise in Generative AI. As a member of the Haiper ML team, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing state-of-the-art generative models and applications that redefine the capabilities of vision foundation models.
Key Responsibilities
Train large models on GPU clusters or distributed GPU environments for large-scale datasets and complex workloads;
Develop and implement scalable inference pipelines to deploy the models into production environments;
Maintain comprehensive documentation of academic papers, models, algorithms, and research findings for knowledge sharing within the team;
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI, conduct research, and explore innovative techniques to improve model quality and efficiency.
Requirements
PhD or Master’s in Computer Science with considerable experience in at least one of the following areas: Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP or related areas;
Extensive hands-on ability in training large neural models;
Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer/Scientist, with a strong focus on Generative AI projects;
Demonstrated expertise in training and optimizing generative models;
Strong coding skills with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow etc.) and distributed training frameworks (e.g. Deepspeed) or CUDA;
Experience with data preprocessing and data augmentation techniques;
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities;
Effective communication and collaboration skills;
Candidates with published papers in top conferences are preferred (e.g. NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP etc.
